1) Over stalking. Save yourself some time, anxiety and preconceptions. You don't have to know what their ex looks like nor do you need to see a million pictures of them with other people that make you ask yourself a million questions. Get to know the person on your dates, not on your computer. That's what dates are for after all...
2) Comparing to exes. OMG so they said this one sentence that your ex used to say all the time. No, it does not mean you have to stay clear from them. Everyone deserves a clean slate and you probably need it more than most...
3) Not offering to pay. I know this can get awkward but we should all, ladies and gents, be offering to pay the bill and if not at the first date, then try at the second.
4) Not having a good sense of humour. Take that stick out of your a** and have a good time for once in your life.

8 Things You Learn From A Bad Relationship
1) You learn how to spot red flags. There were probably some signs at the beginning that you were ignoring, and you probably won't make that mistake again.
2) You learn what type of personality doesn't match yours. In most cases our exe's were not "bad" people, they were just not right for us, and it's important to realize what type of personalities match best in relationships.
3) You learn to be strong. Going through a bad relationship certainly isn't fun, but it does make us stronger if we are able to learn from it.
4) You learn more about what you want in a partner. We don't always know what we like and dislike in partners until we live through those experiences. Look at the bright side, at least now you know what you don't want!
Why You Should Stop Taking Things Slow
1) You're wasting your time. Why would you not want to see the person you're dating more than once a week? If anything you're just going to waste more time because it will take much longer to see if they're a good fit for you or not.
2) They may take it as you not being interested. Saying you want to take things slow could be seen as a cop-out, so this could ruin your chances if you're actually interested.
3) You're giving them a reason to keep talking to other people. If they see this as you not being very interested, then why wouldn't they keep talking to other people in order to find someone who is and SHOWS that they're interested in them.
