2) There's "rules" about everything. FYI they are so 2004 and they will not get you ANYWHERE so pleaseeeeeeee stop and grow up.
3) Too much social media. It's just too easy to talk and date different people at the same time and get away with it. Plus, this just doesn't help the fact that most people have trust issues.
4) People are afraid to be different. Trends nowadays grow SO much faster (thanks to social media as well), and this also affects dating trends. Because everyone knows everything about everyone, it seems that there are more and more f*ckboys and f*ckgirls because for some f*cked up reason that's the trend right now...........
5) Dating = drinking. Meeting people in person seems to not happen anymore unless there's alcohol involved, and then dating seems to always involve alcohol. I'm not saying stop drinking, but I am saying that maybe the dating scene needs to lay off the drinks a bit.
6) Calling doesn't exist anymore. Online dating = texting. Facebook messenger. Instagram DM. Texting. iMessage. WhatsApp. ETC ETC ETC. Just saying calling doesn't use Data and is a quite more effective method of communication.
7) The "single life" is glorified. Today, it's all about "living it up while you're young" which has now also translated into "staying single". Ps. you can live up your life just as much when you're in a good relationship. I am by no means saying that you shouldn't enjoy being single, all I am saying is that healthy relationships should be glorified just as much as the single life.
8) People accept BS. I find more and more people seem to be giving up by simply accepting the BS dating trends when they occur to them. This is only going to make things worse. When someone treats you like shit while you're dating, call them out on it instead of simply accepting it and giving them what they want. You know you deserve better, so act like it.
