Why You Need To Stop "The Chase"

I don't know how many times I have heard someone (guy or girl) say: "I just love the chase" or "I just always want someone I can't have" or "when the chase stops it's like I'm not interested anymore".
Ok 2 words: STOP NOW. Here's why:

1) The other person is not interested. When someone is actually into you, they don't play hide and go seek or any other stupid version of it. So, stop saying it's someone you "can't have", when it's simply someone who "doesn't want you", or at least doesn't want anything serious with you. I don't care how many "signs" they are giving you, get it in your head that it's never going to happen. Stop chasing, start replacing.

2) You look dumb and desperate. Why are you chasing after someone you "can't have". First, it's definitely not super attractive to them. Second, they're probably taking advantage of it because thats what people who play games do. Third, it just makes you look like a fool, because they are completely not interested so stop thinking otherwise.

3) If you "can't have" them, you can have way better. People who play these games of enjoying others chasing after them and playing hard to get are immature, and are definitely not gonna be the best BF or GF...

4) You're going to stay single. If you're the "when the chase stops it's like I'm not interested anymore" type, then it's your fault. If you're simply chasing after someone who doesn't want you, well you're also going to stay single, in case you haven't realized it yet.

5) You're wasting your time. If you keep chasing after someone who is not interested, well i really don't know how you can't be annoyed and see that as completely wasting your time...

6) You're missing out on other great people. All that time you're wasting on a person who still thinks they're 16, could be spent dating a great person who acts their age and doesn't play stupid games.

7) It's not making you happy. What part of chasing after someone brings happiness to you, really?

8) It's a bad habit. Chances are you don't only act this way in your love life. With regards to everything in life, it's much better and you will be much happier if you stop focusing on the things you "can't have" and focus more on what you do have or what you can have.
